From Artists - Do you help artists get a record deal? Directly no, indirectly our service may play a part in getting you to the next level. Providing a venue for your music to be heard and evaluated could bring a direct or indirect connection. If a connection is made we would love to hear about it!
- What kind of promotion do you provide? 100% of our promotion comes through you the artist. We are a vehicle that assists you to your destination, and you are the gas for this vehicle. Through your promotion of your music on our site and the promotion of other members and their music, we expect a cross market that will bring attention to every one's music.
- Do you provide any additional services that artists are able to use and benefit from? Yes, we provide artist management consulting and website creation services. Other services that we are expecting to provide in the future are: industry education and industry-wide consulting services.
- How long has the IAPN been in business? The IAPN was launched July 17, 2006 by VanDyke Entertainment as an online store that would provide independent artists the affordable opportunity to sell their music online and keep 100% of the profit. That approach was not successful which caused us to re-align ourselves with what artists have said has been a much needed service during our market testing.
- What genres do you accept participation from? We accept all genres! We have no limitations!
- What is it that you look for in artists whose music that you accept? That is hard to say because we have no pre-conceived judgment for any of the music that is submitted. Our approach is simple, if we like what we hear we accept your membership!
- How many artists do you accept at a for membership? We do not have a specific number, but depending on submission volume and site responsibilities we can speed up or slow down our membership acceptance at any given time.
- What benefit is there to your enhanced membership? Our enhanced membership provides more of your music to be posted on our site for a longer period of time.
- What is the benefit of me becoming a member of the IAPN? Your membership benefit is that you are able to connect with every day people who love music and will provide you with a direct feedback to help you enhance your music artistry and profile by either providing positive reinforcement or constructive criticism.
- What happens to my music after my time period expires for your site? We are looking to establish a "sister" site that will house our members music for up to one year providing additional opportunities for feedback. As we proceed further, we will know more about how things will come together but we are always operating with you, the artist in mind.

From Evaluators - Is my feedback directly forwarded to the artist? No, it is sent to us and we forward the complete email directly to the artist. A future enhancement will allow for the email to come to both simultaneously.
- I don't want the artist to know my email address, how can this be prevented? You do not have to put your email address on the feedback form unless you would like to.
- I do not want to become a member to evaluate artists and I know that I don't have to be, but what will the difference be? Being an evaluating member allows us to keep in contact with you regarding the site and our artists. You will be the first to receive all news, exclusive or otherwise.
- I do not want to be an evaluating member but I would like to evaluate as a professional because I fall into one of the categories that qualifies me. Can I still provide professional feedback? No, only registered members can evaluate as a professional. We have made this decision because our professionals are truly the key to the puzzle because of their background, experience, knowledge and in some cases their connections. We do not share member information with anyone without prior consent.
- If I am an evaluating member as a professional can I leave feedback through both forms or just choose the basic form? Yes you can. The professional feedback form is a little more open ended to provide you with non-structured feedback however, if your choice is to use one or both we do not have a problem with that and we are sure the artists would not either.
